Starting blogging, means I've had to look at all the work and weddings I've already done this year. And I love it. All the little moments come back, and I remember how amazing and beautiful the people and places are I've been to. This shoot really stole my heart. Woodland and outdoor weddings are my favourite, and Camp Katur, a glamping site and wedding venue in North Yorkshire, really is the perfect place. A walk through the woods takes you to a simple ceremony space in a clearing...a place where only nature (and all your favourite people) can hear your vows...
One Stylish Day created the most perfect styling, with a table setting that blended in with the beauty of its surroundings. Simple glassware, matte black cutlery and gorgeous stationery from Bureau Design. Lucy Macnicoll's floral design blew me away with muddy tones and dried seed heads. Also check out those bouquets, and button holes...
The dresses from Glory Day Bridal, were simple and beautiful. Specialising in real vintage and couture dresses, they really can inspire the every day bride to wear something that little bit more individual. The floaty fabric of the Jasmine dress from their own label Rolling in Roses, is definite dress goals.
The cake by Yolk looked perfect amongst the woodland, and was simply decorated with more dried flower goodness...
I love woodland/tipi/back garden/outdoor weddings...so any newly engaged lovebirds planning a wedding along these lines, please get in touch! A wedding photographer based in the midlands, covering all of the UK and beyond, a little addicted to the outdoors and weddings with mud, trees and wellies would love to chat...
