Last weekend, I photographed Tahlia & Rhys' amazing wedding day. I won't be blogging this just yet, but keep your eyes peeled soon for an amazing village wedding with a tipi garden reception, with lots of flowers and greenery. Meanwhile I'll take you back to their wonderful pre-wedding shoot.
I love pre-wedding shoots as it means I get to chat and hang out with the couple, and have a relaxed vibe of a shoot with no time limits. It's especially great for those couples who feel nervous about having their photos taken. And to include any photos, little ones or pets who wont be there, or too busy having fun on the wedding day!
Tahlia booked me after I photographed one of her friends weddings at The West Mill in Derby. I could tell straight away her and Rhys were such a lovely couple. And the fact they wanted to bring the dogs Millie and Rosie on the pre wedding shoot, meant they were fellow crazy dog people!
We ended up wandering around the countryside for a couple of hours in the sunshine, not too far from where they were getting married in Leicestershire. Hughie was obviously the star of the show with his cheeky smiles. However, the dogs Rosie and Millie joined in with a few photo bombs rather than sitting still. Which I'm sure you'll agree, make for some great family photos. My second photographer, Kye, also came along to hang out, and made an awesome video, which I can't wait to share with you at some point. Rosie Kelly Photography and Film coming soon...!
Meanwhile, amble along in the sunshine with Tahlia, Rhys, Hughie, Millie and Rosie...
Please get in touch, if you'd like a wander in the countryside (or city!) for a couple/family shoot! Also I'm still taking a handful of wedding photography bookings for 2018. However, I have much more availability for 2019/2020 bride and grooms... Be quick!
