Will this winter ever end? Who else is getting fed up of the wet, dreary cold days? So to brighten up your Easter weekend, I thought I'd blog one of my favourite weddings from last year, when it was the height of summer no less. It was definitely a hot-un and in the gorgeous Sugnall Walled Garden in Staffordshire. This is a beauty of a venue and in summer is full of colourful flowers, lavender, and lawn games. Definitely a wedding to warm the soul...
Rachel and Andy are one of the most loveliest couples I've met and all their friends and family were so welcoming and happy. And so full of love for these two humans tying the knot. It was a perfect day to be part of...
One of the first wedding parties to hire Sugnall Hall, just around the corner from the walled garden, made it extra special for prep in the morning. What a spectacular house. Check out the morning photos to see its decor. A gorgeous Morris Minor took Rachel & her dad to the ceremony at Eccleshall Church. The sun shone and even though the vintage bus broke down transporting guests everybody stayed smiling.
The reception at the walled garden after featured all the homemade wooden signs, lots of florals by the amazing Flowers By Breige, a fire pit, lawn games, plenty of sunshine and a surprise appearance by Reuben the dog. Also check out the naked wedding cake, AND cheese cake by Godminster cheeses.
I could go on how much I loved photographing this wedding, and how amazing the people were...but I'd encourage you to experience it for yourselves by taking in all the images below...
