Lily & Ben - Summer Wedding at Aswarby Rectory

Wedding

Elegant party vibes at LUXURY simplistic venue...

As the sunshine starts to filter in this Spring, I cant help but be reminded of the warmest day of the year last year with these guys. Aswarby Rectory has quickly became one of my favourite venues. Built in 1820, its a beautiful, exclusive use country house wedding venue situated in stunning open countryside and surrounded by 9 acres of private gardens and paddock land. Owners Donna & Richard lovingly restored it in such an elegant simple way, and the way the light falls in every room makes it such a dreamy space for wedding days (and photos).

Lily & Ben's elegant style fitted in perfectly with the day with simple green and white florals from the talented Coco In The Country. Who also created the most perfect staircase and fireplace piece. Exposed wooden trestle tables with simple pottery and greenery looked gorgeous with the summer breeze coming through the open windows.

Lily looked simply stunning in her Enzoani bridal dress. And her bridesmaids complimented her look with dark green satin slip dresses. Ben and the guys looked smart with black suits and open collars.

Amongst all this my favourite thing about this day was the happy party atmosphere, with all the sunshines vibes, cocktail hour, garden games and late night dance moves. We also did some couple portraits for 15-20 minutes just before sunset (just look at that crazy sky).

I hope this day inspires you for summer days full of laughter, pockets of magical light, and fun times with family and friends against a backdrop of THE most elegant venue. Cant wait to continue shooting more wedding days at this gorgeous place...
