Sarah & Sam - Boho Tipi Wedding Leicestershire

Wedding

Vintage MG, Grace Loves Lace Dress, DIY Boho Decor...and more...

I'm now doing a blog post feature on a weekly basis. So be sure to pop back to see some of my most favourite weddings and shoots in detail over the next few months!

One of my favourite weddings is this epic tipi wedding!  Sarah & Sam booked me a couple of years ago, and straight away I knew we were going to get on well. When we met on their pre-wedding shoot, I felt even more excited for their wedding day, when they told me about all their plans, and incredible DIY ideas.

The actual day did not disappoint. Most importantly because all of their friends and family were so lovely. It felt like I was at one of my own friends weddings!

I could not get over how they transformed Sarahs parents garden into a tipi wedding dream. Dream catchers, string, feathers, greenery, driftwood table names, handmade candles, a paper-mache tree for a table plan and plenty more details made it a dream to photograph. A horse box gin bar stole the show. Plus the back field was turned into a mini camping field of bell tents!

Sarah looked simply beautiful in her Grace Loves Lace dress with greenery crown and foot jewels (because who needs shoes at a tipi wedding!). Her 12 bridesmaids complimented her look perfectly with white dresses and greenery bouquets from The Flower Plant.

Sam wore military dress. alongside his guard of honour. He also brought along his family's vintage MG which traditionally goes to all the weddings in the family. He took Sarah off for a spin during the reception (some of my favourite photos of the day. Especially the handbrake turn back into the drive, and Atlas the dog, jumping in the car on Sarah's head in excitement on their return!)

I could write about all the details and moments of this day till I run out of blog post, so I'll just let you experience the day in photos... You're gonna love it!
