A social distance family shoot in the summer evening light...
After a long few months with a whole load of postponed/cancelled weddings and a most unusual time staying at home during lockdown...starting to get out and shoot again has been so good! One of my first few shoots was this gorgeous family session. I was meant to photograph Kirsty and Ian's wedding a couple of years back, but after them unexpectedly having to rearrange it last minute I couldn't be part of their day. So, I was thrilled when they got in touch to say they wanted to book a family shoot this summer.
The golden evening light in the paddock next to the house made for some lovely photos and moments. I love capturing the laughter, real smiles and natural moments on family shoots, especially outdoors. And this shoot might be one of my favourites to date...especially after all the recent madness in the world.
