An Autumnal Elopement in York
Eli & Issac contacted me last minute to see if I was available to spend a couple of hours in York with them after eloping at York Registry office. I mean I love big weddings and all the details, but its special days like this that really steal my heart. When its just two people and them celebrating their love by themselves or with their select few favourite people. It makes you realise what marriage and love is really about...
These two live in London but originally met when they lived in York whilst at Uni. So exploring York, and visiting some old haunts for a few hours with me along to capture it seemed perfect. It was a glorious sunny Autumnal day. And we wandered the cobbled back streets, the museum gardens, the wall, York Minster, and even went for cocktails at Spark (where we all very nearly stayed to party with DJ Jazzy Jeff...). Hanging out with these two was so much fun, and I am honoured they asked me to be part of their simple but incredible day. Wishing them both the best of luck in their next adventure living in New York!
Also how gorgeous is Eli's wedding dress from ASOS. And those flowers by The Allotment Florist...
Day like this and meeting people like this , make me realise how much I love my job. I am fully booked for weddings in 2020. But I always have time for elopements and intimate celebrations if I'm available. So please get in touch...
