A boho summer woodland wedding with outdoor feast - UK
Choosing a complete outdoor wedding in the UK, even in the summer is a pretty risky choice, but Karmen & Henry's perfect day at Upthorpe Wood in Bury St Edmunds was everything you could imagine for an outdoor celebration in August 2019. As I stood there photographing the ceremony with the heat of the sun creeping through the branches, butterflies flitting past and the sound of songbird...it pretty much took my breath away. With outdoor hymns to live music, family and friends doing readings it really was one of my favourite ceremonies to date.
An outdoor feast with trestle tables and simple greenery meant the whole wedding day felt like a relaxed, fun outdoor celebration...with Upthorpe Woods cabins meaning there was plenty of shelter and space for a barn dance and partying into the evening. Surrounded by fields, this is one of my favourite venues in the UK. And as outdoor weddings might soon be actually legal in England for official marriages (fingers crossed!)...the possibilities are endless for these boho outdoor weddings across the country! And I hope Karmen and Henry's day really does inspire you...
